The One Room Challenge. A big design and blogging challenge to transform one room in your home, in six weeks. And so our little selves at this DIY blog, we’re so doing this. For three reasons:
1. I love a challenge.
2. I despise our kids bathroom.
3. I’m a sucker.
This week, I’m unveiling the kids bathroom as it was in the beginning. And then, let’s wrap our heads around a bit of a plan.
This was the photo from the real estate listing when we bought our house in 2013. Let’s describe this room in 4 words, or less, just for fun…ready?
Yep, that pretty much sums it up. Why even include this shot in the listing? This space clearly was not going to be doing the home any favors in the marketing department. Anyhow, we bought it, and we’ve been stuck (in the 80’s) with our kids bathroom ever since.* This post contains affiliate links. Sadly, I’m no longer a child. I’m an adult. An adult with a vision (a foggy one, but a vision, nonetheless). Here’s my DIY bathroom plan, and knowing me, I’m probably NOT sticking to it. But, it’s a start.
