Is one perfect to boost your home's curb appeal?

Your exterior paint color is one of the first things that people notice when they look at your house. So the color you choose to paint your home’s exterior is an important choice and makes a big difference.

Swoon-worthy SW Exterior Options

There are several factors to consider before taking the dive into an investment in painting your exterior (such as any HOA restrictions, for one thing). For more on that, head to the article. But for now...

Is this your perfect exterior paint?

Let's explore just a few of the colors that made the top spots on our list...

Sherwin Williams Alabaster (SW 7008) is a bright, creamy off-white (LRV 82). It won’t look yellow, but it is a warm white and will pair exceptionally well with wood tones and earthy colors.

1. Alabaster

One of my favorite Sherwin Williams exterior paint colors of all time. SW 7036 is a Goldilocks shade...not too light, not too dark. It's just right.

2. Accessible Beige

Pair this rich greige (LRV 17) with a warm off-white and dark accents for a timeless look that will never go out of style.

3. Gauntlet Gray

This rich, earthy, warm greige was Sherwin Williams 2021 Color of the Year, so this popular shade earned its place as one of my favorite exterior paint colors.

4. Urbane Bronze

Its LRV of 2 makes it the darkest exterior paint color on this list, but if you looking for a reliable and surprise-free black? Check out Tricorn Black (SW 6458).

5. Tricorn Black

Tip: As a self-proclaimed “frugalista”, I recommend buying a few paint samples of your top choices and using them to paint your swatches. It’s so much cheaper than buying gallons of paint!
