GREEK VILLA by Sherwin Williams

A Complete Guide

Sherwin Williams Greek Villa quite possibly doesn’t have a downside. Reminiscent of villas on the Greek hillsides, this color is timeless and stunning.

Undertones of Greek Villa

This paint color looks very sophisticated and chic, thanks to its neutral base. It has just the teensiest bit of yellow and green undertones that read as beige rather than yellow and green.

LRV of Greek Villa

Greek Villa has an LRV (light reflective value) of 84. It’s an off-white, but not a dark one.

By putting them side by side, you can see that SW Alabaster reads as a little more gray and muted than Greek Villa. Plus, with an LRV of 82, it’s also just a wink darker.

Creamy has stronger yellow undertones and will read as, well, creamier and more yellow than SW Greek Villa will.

SW Pure White is a cool, bluish-white that can feel very bright and even stark in some situations.

Tip: As a self-proclaimed “frugalista”, I recommend buying a few paint samples of your top choices and using them to paint your swatches. It’s so much cheaper than buying gallons of paint!
