With an LRV of 10, Peppercorn (SW 7674) is a bit lighter gray than Urbane Bronze. It reads as very neutral with a great balance of warm and cool, and it also has a softness that SW Urbane Bronze doesn’t have.

Let's Compare:

These colors look similar when you put them side by side, but with an LRV of 6, Sherwin Williams Iron Ore (SW 7069) is definitely darker than Urbane Bronze. Both in the gray family, you can see the brown undertones in Urbane Bronze when they’re side-by-side.

Wrought Iron (SW 2105) is a smidge darker at an LRV of 6.  Both would be considered blacks, but Urbane Bronze has much more brown in it so it reads a bit warm, while Wrought Iron is cooler with more gray undertones.

Tip: As a self-proclaimed “frugalista”, I recommend buying a few paint samples of your top choices and using them to paint your swatches. It’s so much cheaper than buying gallons of paint!
