Fall DIY ideas for this season…
In November, we Americans celebrate our Thanksgiving holiday.
And “gratitude” becomes our buzz word du jour, or mois (I think that means “month” in french…I don’t really know for sure. I googled it).
What a great word it is, at that. I’m grateful for this annual love-fest for the concept of gratitude. A little more gratitude and perhaps a smidge less griping could make this world a wee bit happier, eh?
Know what else I’m grateful for? T-minus one week and counting until this blasted election is over. Can I get an “Amen?” That said, I’m also quite grateful to have the right to vote.
My great-grandmother was a part of the suffrage movement and having heard her stories first hand, I try not to take that right for granted. That said, seriously…I’m ready for all this pain and suffering to end.
We’ve talked in the past about the three topics that home bloggers don’t discuss in their blogs, right?
1.) religion
2.) politics
3.) painted furniture
I totally broke rule #3 last week when I laid my latest DIY painted furniture escapades out on the table…or in that case, the desk.
Back to the topic at hand…
Which happens to be…HANDS! And handprints, to be more precise. I’ve shared a bunch of seasonal handprint projects for you to try with those little turkeys you have at home. Click the link below to head over now –>>
And now, the DIY Housewives have a dozen more fall DIY project ideas to be thankful for!
Wreaths, recipes, pumpkins, place cards, and printables…there’s a little bit of everything here! Enjoy!
