I’ve told you guys before that I’m not an expensive handbag girl, right? Of my best girlfriends, I may be the ONLY one that hasn’t dished out more than $100 on a handbag EVER. But know what I HAVE been known to over-indulge on? Lighting.

And I’ll admit it. I have been known to use the fact that I don’t spend money on $$ bags and shoes to my advantage from time to time. As I write, I’m reminded that in my line of view at this very moment is a particularly gorgeous, and VERY indulgent chandelier that I may have possibly gotten thanks, in part, to said tactic. So wrong, I know.
But I don’t ALWAYS dish the big bucks for lighting. In fact, sometimes, I can be downright thrifty. And so can some of the other awesome home bloggers I know. Today, the DIY Housewives are sharing their budget-friendly DIY lighting ideas.
