There are lots of car phone mounts on the market. And I’m sure they all work great. BUT if you’re in a pinch, this trick works wonders.
This little DIY hack takes about 30 seconds (that’s if you have trouble). And it’s FREE. Or I should say, free if you already have the cell phone. Goodness knows THOSE are NOT free.
DIY car mobile holder supplies:
- rubber band
- paper clip
how to make a quick and easy car mobile holder:
The short video below shows you how it’s done ⤵
So easy, right?! This is certainly not the first time this idea has been thought up. I did a search for rubber band phone mount, and several hits appeared. No one that I saw though showed how to get it into the vent without trying to wedge your finger into the vents though.
Luckily, I had a random paperclip in my car…necessity is the mother of invention. Now, just like the disclaimer on the packaging for all those pricey phone holders states…DON’T USE YOUR PHONE WHILE DRIVING. PERIOD. But you already knew that, right?!
So that’s alllll there is to it! Quick and easy!
