This is great idea but I’m not sure about lavender in the car, it’s relaxing and can make you sleepy. Rosemary and peppermint are good for clearing the brain and keeping you alert.

Great idea! I’m gonna clip some onto my AC air vents in the house too. I read about using fabric softener sheets but that puts strain on the AC. This idea is perfect. Oh! And my regular fans too! I clipped a car air freshener on a fan a few weeks ago just ’cause it was sitting there and I wasn’t gonna put it in my car during 100-111degrees and let it dry up in one day. It made the living room smell great. So for a fraaaaction of the price, and w things I already have on hand, i can make the cars AND the house smell nice. Woohoo! That was a three for one tip!
Essential oil+clothespin=fresh scents when clipped on AC vent, car AC vent, and room fans. Score!! Thanks for the tip!

I adore these other ideas, Kristen! I’ll pass them along, as well!! It makes me happy when folks chime in and build on things because that always makes my mediocre ideas MUCH BETTER! Thanks for that!!

Thanks for sharing! I’m definitely going to try this with my Lavander essential oil, it’s so soothing and you can’t get the same scent from commercial glade stuff
