This little rabbit ornament was part of my fall fast and furious felt ornament making mania.

Today is our little felt bunny Christmas ornament bonanza.
The felt bunny can be easily taken in and out of his hat, making it a super fun ornament for the kiddos.
I used two free patterns that I found on Pinterest to make this bunny rabbit ornament:
Supplies needed for your DIY rabbit in a hat ornament:
- felt (I used white for the bunny and black for the hat)
- thread (various colors depending on your color scheme)
- (2) teensy tiny black beads (with a hole in each…like you’d use for jewelry-making)
- needle for hand-stitching
- yarn or ribbon for making loop tree hanger
- hot glue/hot glue gun
How to assemble your felt rabbit ornament:
There are simple tutorials on both of the sites linked above for the rabbit and the hat patterns, so I followed those.
The only additional step you’ll need to do is to stitch (or hot glue) some type of ribbon or yarn to the inside of your hat so that you have something that will let your rabbit ornament hang from the Christmas tree.
That’s all there is to it! Takes a little time to assemble, but so easy, it’s almost magic. And speaking of magic…we hope your holiday season is just that.
