Advent calendars aren’t just for kids. Here are the best Christmas countdown calendars for adults (AKA kids at heart)…

Did you have an advent calendar growing up? I have vivid memories of opening my own advent calendar each day in December.

Back then, it felt as if December lasted for an eternity. What I wouldn’t give to get that feeling back, do you know what I mean?

These days, the holidays fly by so fast that it’s hard to catch a breath, slow down and take just a moment to enjoy the memories as they are sailing past.

Since that advent calendar was one of my favorite Christmas traditions, we’ve always had some of them in our home. We have countdown calendars that come out every year, and can be used over and over again.

But I also purchase an advent calendar for each of my three teens each year. It’s a fun way to amp the excitement for the holiday season.

And nowadays, my husband and I purchase advent calendars for each other, too! This started with my sister-in-law gifting me a puzzle advent calendar (this one) one year, and Tib (my hubs) kept working on the puzzles with me each day.

To be honest, I kind of got annoyed with him stealing my fun 😉 so the following year, I got him his OWN calendar to do, and the rest is history!

So from puzzles to brainteasers, chocolate to coffee, makeup to nails…there are advent options here for every important adult in your life!
